All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.  2Timothy 3:16 (NAS)

The Greek word translated here as “inspired” is not used anywhere else in the Bible. Its literal meaning is “breathed out.”  That is, Scripture has a divine source – it is the breath of God. We have the gift of the Word, divinely breathed by God Himself, and carrying His authority. Notice that the apostle Paul says all Scripture.None of it is obsolete or unimportant. From the first verse of Genesis to the final verse of Revelation, the message is perfectly consistent, all pointing to Jesus Christ and His work on the cross to redeem you and me. The Bible is the trustworthy, matchless message of our holy God who loves us unconditionally and has made a way for us to be in right relationship with Him.

Thank You for Your Word. You speak to my heart with every reading. I find wisdom, courage, peace, and comfort – I know Your voice. Your Word is beautiful to me.  Your Word is life.
