The LORD will keep you from all harm-

he will watch over your life;

the LORD will watch over your coming and going

 both now and forevermore.

How comforting it is to know that the Lord has His eye constantly upon us! Because we are Christ followers, He watches as our loving Father, not as a critical judge. Whatever happens to us today is under the sovereign and watchful care of our Creator.  These verses do not promise a life free of trials, but they do promise the very presence of our Protector for all of eternity. 

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for watching over my life.  Help me to remember that I am never alone as I go about the busy-ness of my day.  I praise You and thank You for being my Good Shepherd and I rest in Your loving care.   Let my words and actions be a pleasing aroma to You today.

I love You, Lord.
