As we step into 2025, it is time to release the burdens of the past that hold us back. Embracing a fresh start means focusing on the present and moving forward with hope toward the future.  From His word, we know that Almighty God sent His Son to redeem us, and that He will continue to empower us to overcome every obstacle.  Because God is faithful and sovereign, we can trust and look forward to what He will do in us and through us.  There are abundant blessings to come, and we can be thankful that we are no longer defined by our past!

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You today and celebrate the fact that You have made me new! Remind me of this truth throughout my day. Thank you for making roads in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.  I know that You are the Creator of all good things.  Please help me keep my focus on You, Your Word, and Your commands.  Strengthen me to stand against the devil’s deceiving words and my own doubts. Silence the voices of cynics, skeptics, and haters when they try to rob me of my joy and confidence which is found only in You.  Empower me to live a life that reflects Your love, grace, and compassion.  Thank you, Lord, for loving me when I am so undeserving.
