Can you discover the depths of God? Can you discover the limits of the Almighty? They are as high as the heavens, what can you do? Deeper than Sheol, what can you know?  Job 11:7-8 (NAS)

The eternality of God may be the most difficult of His attributes for believers to understand. We can’t experience it with our five senses or comprehend it with our limited minds. We are the creation of Him who was not created. The beginning, as we understand it, was not a beginning for God. There has never been a time or place where He was not. There is no analogy we can use to describe Him because He is incomparable. His knowledge and power are immeasurable, yet creation reveals them to those who will see (Rom. 1:20). His unfailing love is greater than our hearts can understand, and His holiness is unfathomable to our earthly perception. Yet for all His incomprehensible being, it is good to contemplate the eternality of God- we will never exhaust the wonder of Him whom we cannot contain.

Dear Lord,

Thank You for loving me and stirring my heart to desire a relationship with You. I know Your grace, power and perfection are without limitation, so I ask You to teach me about You as I am able to understand. Never let me stop seeking You.
