Our salvation is accomplished by the cross of Jesus, but left on our own, we would be powerless to live this new life. In His wisdom, God blesses us with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit who teaches us day by day to reject every old behavior that is not pleasing to Him, and to love what He loves. It is God’s intention to transform each of us into the image of Christ. God began the process, and He will complete it. Our confidence is not in ourselves but in our faithful and loving Father. He will be with us always, teaching us to walk in wisdom and freedom from sin. That is our security.

Dear Lord,

I am grateful that You have a plan and a purpose for me. Whatever You need to do to conform me to the image of Jesus, please do it. Transform my heart, my mind and my will- I am Yours.
