…one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.  Ephesians 4:6 (ESV)

Our God is Father of all; He is the Creator and sustainer of the universe and every person and creature that lives within it. He is over all; there is no other being higher than He. He is transcendent, supreme, sovereign over all things. Our God is through all and holds all things together by the power of His presence. He is in all; He made a way for us to be part of His family by faith in Christ and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The unity of the body of Christ rests on this truth- we belong to one God, One Spirit, One Lord. These three are One in the mystery and magnitude of the Trinity, filling and strengthening every believer to carry out His purposes for our lives.

Dear Lord,

 Thank You for being the unifying power that binds Your people together. Help us to demonstrate our unity by the way we love one another regardless of how different we are. We are infinitely grateful to part of one body, filled by one Spirit, ruled by one Lord, and belonging to one God and Father.

I love You, Lord.
