There is one body and one Spirit- just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call.  Ephesians 4:4

The hope of our calling is the future aspect of our faith- the hope laid up for us in heaven. Unlike the wishful hope of this world, Biblical hope is an absolute certainty because God never fails to keep His promises. We have a living hope that came to us when we were saved- that Christ is coming again, and we will be made like Him and share His glory! We look forward with confident expectation to the return of Christ and all that will happen when He comes. We will see the end of all injustice, evil, sorrow and pain and the dawn of eternal peace and joy. We are called to this blessed hope, and the call that saves us also unites us into one body. 

Dear Lord,

Your promises enable us to be strong as we eagerly await the completion of our call. We have Your precious presence to lead us day by day, and the bright hope of a secure future in heaven with You. Help us to promote unity in the body of Christ so that we will be effective witnesses to a lost and dying world. Remind us to share the hope You have so graciously given to us.
