Morning Moments at FBC Senoia

Starting everyday with the JOY of the Lord!

Tuesday January 27,2026

Then the LORD said to Job, “Will the faultfinder contend with the Almighty? Let him who reproves answer it.” Then Job answered the LORD and said, “Behold, I am insignificant; what can I reply to Thee? I lay my hand on my mouth.”   Job 40:1-4 (NAS)

Even the most faithful saint will suffer in this world. Do you feel like God turns His back on you in times of prolonged adversity? Job was “blameless, upright, and fearing God”, yet he suffered greatly. Although he never renounced his faith, he appealed to God many times to tell him why he was being oppressed. God directed Job to consider the cosmos in all its vastness and splendor as evidence of His power. Then he called Job to consider the world around him and the intricacies of every living thing as examples of His omniscience. Like Job, we have only limited awareness of our world and the immeasurable number of ways that people and events are interwoven. God’s perspective is infinitely greater than ours, and it is not our place to evaluate His plans. God wants our trust, not our understanding.

Dear Lord,

It’s easy to become discouraged when troubles seem to linger too long, but I know that You are above all things and You hold all things together. You are God Most High, eternal and everlasting. I will put my trust in You.

I love You, Lord.

Amen.
