As we go through the process of seeking the Lord and aligning our plans with His, it’s helpful to look back over things that went well in the past year and be encouraged by them. Resolving to continue something that has been fruitful is just as valuable as setting a new goal. It’s by God’s blessing that any ministry flourishes, so be strengthened in your purposes knowing that He has blessed you! If you feel overwhelmed, ask God’s direction to find someone to help. You are never alone in the body of Christ.

Dear Lord,

It is such an encouragement when the work I do bears fruit! But sometimes I do become weary and want to quit. Please help me remember that it is all for Your honor and glory. Your steadfast faithfulness strengthens me and gives me joy. Help me stay the course and continue to serve You.
