So how do we best walk into the new year? Start fresh. Begin with a clean conscience, and don’t hold on to past mistakes. Let go of all confessed sin and leave regrets behind. God promises to forget your transgressions, and so should you.

Do you need to forgive someone? Do it now, and don’t let bitterness grow. Do you need to apologize or make things right with anyone? Do it now, with sincerity of heart, and be at peace.

 Most importantly, fully trust that God loves you and has plans to bless you. Walk confidently into this new year.

Dear Lord,

New beginnings are a precious gift. Thank You so much for letting go of what lies behind and enabling me to be in fellowship with You. Thank You for loving me and showing me Your way.
