Morning Moments at FBC Senoia

Starting everyday with the JOY of the Lord!

Monday January 5, 2026

Do not call to mind the former things, Or ponder things of the past. Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth;
Will you not be aware of it?I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.    Isaiah 43:18 -19 (NAS)

Unlike Christmas and Easter, the January 1 New Year celebration is not based on Scripture. But the Bible is rich with themes of renewal and restoration. For Christians, the new year is a meaningful time for spiritual reflection, gratitude, and entrusting the Lord with the time that lies ahead. Renew your commitment to spend time in God’s Word, being intentionalabout applying it to your life, and at all times and in every situation, pray.

Dear Lord,

Thank You for Your blessings and protection in the year gone by. You are always faithful, and always good. My heart’s desire is to know You more deeply, follow You more closely, and obey You completely. I commit the coming year to You and ask You to help be truly faithful.

I love You, Lord.

Amen
