Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.  Ephesians 6:13 ESV

Are you dressed for battle today?  We can easily feel overwhelmed by the evil that we observe in our world, but we have been given the equipment that we need to stand firm. Take a minute today to ask God to provide exactly what you need today from His storehouse of unlimited riches and power.     

Heavenly Father, 

You are Almighty God who reigns victorious. Remind us this morning, as our feet hit the floor, to get fully dressed in the armor that You have given us.  Help us, through Your Holy Spirit, to be faithful warriors for You today standing firm on truth and righteousness.  Guard our hearts and our minds.  Give us a readiness to share the gospel of peace with those you put into our path today.
