Morning Moments at FBC Senoia

Starting everyday with the JOY of the Lord!

Friday November 7, 2025

Jesus spoke to them again: “I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.”   John 8:12 (CSB)

Everyone loves a fairytale.   There is always a villain who is defeated by a hero representing all things good and pure.  I believe we connect with fairy tales because they hint at something that is real and true about our world.  In the great story of God, Satan is the villain, Christ, the hero.  Just a good push defeats evil, light overcomes darkness.  Jesus, the light, pushes back evil and darkness.  He wins! Satan loses.  We must commit to walking in the light, as He is the light.  The greatest true story ever told.

Most Gracious Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the light You provide in a dark world. As I go about my day, help me remember to follow that light today. I sometimes stumble and fall, but You are always there to illuminate my path.

I love You, Lord.

Amen.
