For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.  Ephesians 2:8

You can’t love Christ as much as He deserves. You can’t thank Him too much, depend on Him too much, or think about Him too often. Your sins are laid on Him and His righteousness is laid on you. That is the great exchange, and it comes to us by faith alone. We simply receive the free gift He offers. He calls us to live a holy life, fully aware that we cannot do it on our own. Thoe only way we can please God is to accept the exchange- our sin for His holiness in the person of Jesus Christ. Oh what a Savior!

Dear Lord Jesus,

Someday I will see You face to face. I can’t even imagine what it will be like to look in Your eyes! But for now, I will let the sweet peace of Your presence fill my heart and mind. The exchange You made for my soul can never be repaid, but please show me what You want me to do every day of this life on earth.

I love You, Lord.
