From that city many of the Samaritans believed in Him because of the word of the woman.   John 4:39a (NAS)

Jesus has given the Samaritan woman new life, living water so she will never thirst again, and what is her response? She hurries back to the city (Sychar) calling out, “Come and see!”, telling everyone what Christ has done for her.  The Bible tells us that many believed because of her testimony. Our testimony can be a powerful means to lead others to Christ. We tell about Him because of who He is and what He has done, not hoping people will be impressed by us, but that they will learn about the love of Jesus. We simply present how He has changed our lives- this is His plan for salvation, and He has graciously invited us to be part of it. What a beautiful Savior!

Dear Lord,

Sometimes it feels intimidating to share my testimony, but I know that’s a tool of the enemy to keep me quiet. I am not D.L. Moody or Billy Graham, but You saved me because You love me, and that’s a truth worth telling! Remind me that it’s all about You- my perfect, powerful, praiseworthy Savior! There is no better subject to discuss with anyone.

I love You, Lord.
