And he said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord God, you know.” Ezekiel 37:3 ESV

The prophet Ezekiel was led by God’s spirit into a valley of dry, dead bones.  He was told to prophecy to the bones and God would bring them back to life.  We know the rest of the story and can probably even sing it.  The Lord knit the bones back together and gave them life.  Ezekiel knew that nothing was impossible for the Sovereign Lord.  What about you?  Are you in a spiritual valley of dry bones?  Our all-powerful God Almighty can breathe new life into every situation.  Draw near to Him and He will draw near to You.  Trust that He is near even the dark valleys.  

Heavenly Father,

I come to You today by Your Spirit and through the Living Word who became flesh.  I ask You to restore my health, my faith, and my spirit.  Please help me to get through this difficult season and may You receive the glory.
