Morning Moments at FBC Senoia

Starting everyday with the JOY of the Lord!

Monday September 22, 2025

I remember the days of old; I meditate on all Thy doings; I muse on the work of Thy hands. Psalm 143:5 (NAS)

When David wrote this psalm, he was surrounded by enemies who wanted to kill him. He had been pursued and betrayed, and saw no way out.  Rather than focusing on his fear, however, David chose to reflect on the Lord. He reminded himself that God had been his strength and salvation in the past and meditated on God’s faithfulness. This is a valuable approach to dealing with fear and worry. Reflecting on God’s character is our source of hope.   When we remember His goodness over the course of our lives, we find a renewed sense of trust and peace. We don’t know what will happen tomorrow, but we Have a loving God who does. We can face our difficulties with confidence, knowing that He is always by our side. We will have troubles, but we know One who is stronger than anything we must face. He is our gracious and faithful Heavenly Father.

Dear Lord,

You have been so good to me throughout my life. You have protected me, cared for me, and loved me. When I consider all You have done, I am overwhelmed by Your steadfast love. In my most severe trials, You have been my strength and my shield. Thank You, Lord, for always being with me.

I love You, Lord.

Amen
