But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), Ephesians 2: 4-5 (NAS)
The love of God -we cannot earn it; we will never deserve it. We can’t comprehend the magnitude of His love, or describe the benevolence of the One who bestows it on us, but we can experience the love of God. We can receive His abounding mercy and grace, be blessed by His faithfulness, trust His steadfast, unchanging character and rejoice in His persistent, everlasting tenderness toward us. Above all, we must realize the sacrificial, redemptive nature of His love, in that He gave His Son to suffer and die on a cross to pay the penalty for our sin. Raising Him from the dead, God raised the believer to everlasting life.
This is the God we serve.
Dear Lord,
When I consider Your love, I find that it has no limits- no boundaries, and I realize that I will never completely fathom it. You are so high above us, but You choose to favor us with Your infinite love, to cherish us a dearly loved children. You see our weaknesses and our faults, but Your mercy never fails, and Your love never ceases. My heart’s desire is to honor and glorify You. Remind me Lord, to share Your amazing love with others who need to hear.
I love You, Lord,
Amen
