The world is full of people who have very real problems. Addiction, physical ailments, financial hardship, loss of loved ones, loneliness – the list is endless. And sometimes they feel completely alone in their battle. As children of God, we are gifted and called to love, and it is important to respond to that call.  People need to know they are seen. When you show that you care, you make a way to tell them that God sees them and He cares. You may think you have nothing to offer, but you do. You always have something to give. You can make eye contact and smile; offer a cup of coffee and an ear. Listen. Show the kindness of Jesus to someone who desperately needs it, share the Word of God with a hungry soul. The Lord Himself will make up what you lack.  Step out in faith- God has gifted you for such a time as this.

 Dear Lord,

Open my eyes to see someone who needs me today. Remind me show Your love by a smile, a word, or an act of kindness You know every heart and every situation, and I ask You to show me how I can be a good steward of the grace You have given me.
