Starting everyday with the JOY of the Lord!

But Thou art holy, O Thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. Our fathers trusted in Thee: they trusted and Thou didst deliver them.   Psalm 22: 3-4 (KJV)

To inhabit means to live or make one’s home somewhere. God’s Word tells us that He inhabits the praises of His people. He chooses to dwell with us when we praise Him. In challenging or painful times, praise may not come readily, but praise Him anyway. You may feel overwhelmed, but He is not. Deliberately choose to bless His name and honor our omnipotent God. Actively, persistently praise Him even if you feel crushed in spirit. True praise changes us. We find faith to replace fear, and courage to face our troubles as we honor and worship Him. Make a commitment to genuinely praise the Lord, and He will abide with you.

Dear Lord,

I know You are worthy of all praise. Sometimes life is hard, but You are Holy God Almighty, and You are stronger than any problems I have. I am grateful that You choose to abide with me. I will praise You, Lord, in good times and hard times.

I love You, Lord.

Amen
