Whether in corporate worship or private, there is power in praising the Lord! We praise Him for His power, for His goodness and mercy, and for His unending love. We praise Him because He is worthy. Praise Him with a thankful heart for your redemption- the salvation of your soul from eternal punishment and pain. Truthfully, if God did not ever bless us again after accomplishing our salvation, we could never return as much praise as He deserves. Praise Him today in Your heart and your mind, in your words and your conduct. He alone is worthy of all our praise.

Dear Lord,

I look up at the Georgia blue sky, and I am filled with praise! You surround me with nature’s incredible beauty, with loved ones, special moments, and joy. But even when I hit the inevitable rough patch – times of frustration and confusion, I choose to honor You with praise! You are God and there is no other. You alone give light and life. I choose to praise You continually.
