Jesus came into the world not only to teach us how to get to heaven; He came to show us how to live. Abundant life takes place here and now in a close personal relationship with God, through Jesus Christ. It is meant to be a life of purpose, joy, and spiritual growth. It’s not necessarily a life of material wealth, but one of security, provision, guidance, and care. Jesus came to give us life, and the more we get to know Him, the more abundant our lives will be.

Dear Lord Jesus,

I love to follow You through the Gospels, learning about Your life and reading the words You spoke. No matter how many times I read them, You always draw me to deeper understanding. Thank You for Your sacrificial love and for showing us how to live.
