We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.  1 John 4:16 (NAS)

God is love. It is not something He does sometimes- it is His very nature. His love for us can never fade, weaken, or be used up. From eternity past He has loved you; He loves you now; and He always will love you. His love is pure, infinite, unrestrained, and beautiful. We were designed by Him and created to live in this great love. It is not a general, universal love; it’s deeply personal. God loves you specifically, profoundly, and perfectly. Today, abide in His great love.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your perfect love for me. Thank You for Jesus and His sacrifice that enables me to be in relationship with You. I am aware of Your love in the midst of a busy day, and even more so in the silent moments when I can focus all my thoughts on You. Words do not do justice to Your love, but I know it in my heart, and I am deeply grateful.

I love You, Lord.
