Do more! Be more! Check your list! You can do it! Keep going- you got this! 

Sweet friend, God never said any of that. “Do the most” and “get the most” out of every minute of your day is the clamor of the world shouting to you, and it’s not a healthy message. In fact, it’s a fast track to total burnout. Instead, commit the first thoughts of your day to the Lord. Praise Him for His goodness, and ask Him to be with you throughout the day. Stop your racing thoughts and call to mind a favorite verse of Scripture; meditate on His Word. He is your strength- rest in that truth.

Dear Lord,

I love Your Word. It fills me with joy, confidence, and peace. Help me remember that maximizing every minute of the day is the call of the world. It is not from You. Remind me to stop running on the fast track and choose to take moments of stillness with You.

I love You, Lord.
