Who am I that the Creator of the universe would choose to love me? I am sometimes petty and unwise. I am not the most beautiful, brilliant, or talented person around, and I do not always say exactly the right thing at the right time. I am neither rich (by the world’s standards) nor famous. No, I am so much more than all of that. I am a chosen child of God, forgiven, redeemed, and freed from the power of sin. I am God’s handiwork, beloved, treasured. I have a divine purpose that He created for me before time began. My identity is rooted in God’s love and truth, not worldly approval. I am a daughter of the King of Kings, and there is absolutely nothing I would rather be.

Most Gracious Heavenly Father,

Thank You for loving me and calling me Your own. Your love fills me with inexpressible joy and creates in me a completely grateful heart.
