Communication is central to any meaningful relationship, and it’s essential to your relationship with God. When you pray, you draw closer to Him. You can pour out your heart to Him; then quiet yourself to listen to Him as well. He is always available, always your loving Father. He cares for you and wants what is best for you. Open your heart and mind to hear what your Heavenly Father speaks to you.

Dear Lord,

Thank You for allowing me to come to You and tell You everything in my heart. Help be aware of Your voice and listen closely to all You have to say to me. Rid my mind of fears and doubts that make it difficult to hear You. I trust You, Lord, to speak to me in ways that I can understand.
