Yes, you messed up. Yesterday, the day before, or five years ago. We all do. We are only human, and we are far from perfect. But we have a Savior who is perfect, and He loves us so much that He paid the price for our sins. He has removed them from us as if they were of no substance at all- like a vapor in the wind. Anything that has put a barrier between you and the Lord is only there because you have not let it go. Release your mistakes and wrongdoing to God, and return to the One who redeemed you. 

Dear Lord,

Thank You for my salvation. I still falter and stumble sometimes, and my shame seems to separate me from you. I know You love me even when I say or do something that displeases You. I am grateful that Your Holy Spirit indwells me, so I can recognize when I have done wrong. Please remind me to release it to You and return to Your open arms. Help me learn from my mistakes and grow ever closer to You.
