For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb.

I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

Wonderful are Your works,

Have you ever really thought about the fact that God created you? The psalmist is not talking about the whole human race in these verses. He thanks God for specifically making him. In the same way, God made you- deliberately, intentionally. Your expressive eyes and smiling mouth, your skillful hands, even the exact shape of your nose, and your own, unique voice are all of His choosing. You are a carefully crafted, exclusive and beautiful creation, designed by the One who is the Creator of the universe. The One who brought beauty into existence made you exactly as He intended to do. Take time to thank Him and praise Him for the particular care with which He shaped you.

Dear Lord,

Thank You for the way You made me. Please forgive me for all the times I have complained about the person I see in the mirror. I know You designed me beautifully, and I am truly grateful. Help me see myself as You do, Lord. All Your works are wonderful, and that includes me!
