Morning Moments at FBC Senoia

Starting everyday with the JOY of the Lord!

Do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.  Philippians 2:4 (NAS)

You have a busy day ahead of you. You know what your responsibilities are, and you have organized your time so that you will be as productive as possible. But your husband, your children, your coworker gets in touch and all your carefully laid plans are completely disrupted. What is your response? Are you able to graciously shift gears and bid your “productivity” good bye? Ask yourself if you treat others the way God treats you. That can be a sobering thought. Try not to view others as an interruption or distraction, but as the reason you are in that moment with them. What would Jesus like you to say or do just then? Changing your perspective changes everything.

Dear Lord,

You never turn away from me when I need You, and the truth is that I need You all the time. Thank You for Your patience and kindness. Thank You for never telling me to come back later. Please remind me to let Your example of grace be at work in me as I interact with others.

I love You, Lord.

Amen
