Daniel answered and said, “Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to Him.”  Daniel 2:20

The names of God in Scripture declare His character, honor His eminence, enrich our understanding of His nature, and reveal His relationship with His people. In His names we see His supremacy and sovereignty over all creation, His sufficiency and ability to provide for our needs, and His loving care as He leads and guides us each day. He is Yahweh (LORD), Elohim (God), and El Roi (The God Who Sees). He is the Living God, The Lord of Hosts, the King Eternal, and the Lord God of Heaven. There is no end to His power, His majesty, and His glory.

O Holy God Almighty,

We thank You and bless Your Glorious name! We have given You so many reasons to leave us, but You never have, and Your Word assures us that You never will. We give You honor and praise right now! You are worthy, Lord; You are worthy.
