As Christians, we are meant to share in both the joy and sorrow of others, creating a loving and supportive community. We celebrate their accomplishments and blessings without envy or jealousy and extend compassion and empathy during difficult times.  Reflect on the past few years—have you taken a gift or a meal to celebrate the birth of a child? Have you sat beside a loved one, offering comfort through tears? If so, you have been the hands and feet of Jesus. It is a blessing to be a godly presence in someone’s life, and it is the way we strengthen the family of God. Each day presents new opportunities to be a blessing. Who will you bless today?

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the multitude of blessings in my life. You are my Anchor and my perfect example of love. Help me rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep. Give me a compassionate and empathetic heart. I pray that I will always be ready to lend a helping hand and a listening ear. Thank you for the gift of community and for the opportunity to share in both the joys and sorrows of life with others.
