The blessings of God are gifts that transform every day from difficult to wonderfully fulfilling. How do we procure these blessings? Simply by doing as He has taught us to do. Be kind, compassionate, faithful, and generous. Our Lord Jesus has shown us everything we need to know about living a life of blessings. We have only to follow His example. He is always ready to help us see opportunities to show His love.

Dear Lord, 

Sometimes life seems complicated. We are pulled in so many directions. Yet, You were constantly assailed by the needs of countless people. Still, You met their needs, showed them Your love, and gave all You had to bless them. Please remind me daily (maybe even hourly) to follow Your example. Show me how to be a blessing.
