Do you remember the moment when Jesus held out His hand to you and said, “Come…”?  From the instant that you said yes, you became one of His brothers and sisters. You became co-heir with Him to an inheritance of eternity spent in the magnificence of heaven in the presence of God Himself. Jesus paid all your debt to make you part of His family.  How can you respond to such grace?

We show Jesus our love and gratitude by walking with Him and living according to His Word. We can choose to make His teachings the most important part of our lives. We can live each day as one of His family.

Dear Lord,

Please don’t ever let me forget that first day. Gratitude and joy were all I knew! Being part of Your family has changed my life forever. You are everything to me. Help me to show it by living my life steeped in Your Word.

I love You, Lord.
