As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. For their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they themselves also may be sanctified in truth. I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they may all be one.”  John 17:18-21a (NAS)

The key to living the Christian life is found in what God has already done for us.  Jesus devoted Himself completely to the will of the Father, setting Himself apart and teaching His disciples in order that they could fulfill their calling to preach and teach the gospel message after Jesus’ resurrection. As God has loved you, love others. As He has lavished grace and mercy on you, offer it freely to others. Everything that God has called you to do, He has already done for you.

Lord Jesus,

I am so grateful for the truths You have taught me through Your Word and Your Spirit. As You have poured mercy, grace, and love into me, remind me always to be ready to pass it on. Show me someone who needs to hear about your love today.
