I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart; I will tell of all Thy wonders.

Call it a holy moment. Start your day with a prayer of thankfulness. It’s easy to do; it can be short and sweet. Thank God for a new day and the opportunities it will bring. Thank Him for your loved ones, your home, and the wonder of His presence. You get the idea. Just take a moment to start your day in the language of gratitude.  Turning to God first thing in the morning refreshes your perspective and can set the stage for more moments of grace throughout the day. He is so good. 

Dear Lord,

Thank You for Your love, Your mercy and grace. Thank You for this fragment of time that You ordained for me, and for all You have done to bring me this far. I praise you, Lord, because You are worthy to be praised. Let my heart be filled continually with gratitude toward You.

I love You, Lord.
