Morning Moments at FBC Senoia

Starting everyday with the JOY of the Lord!

Monday April 14, 2025

Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the LORD drove the sea back by a strong east wind all night and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.  And the people of Israel went into the midst of the sea on dry ground, the waters being a wall to them on their right and on their left.   Exodus 14:21-22 ESV

Are you facing a circumstance right now that seems impossible?  God is good at taking our “impossibles” and making them miraculous for His glory just as He did for Israel when they were facing the Red Sea with the enemy bearing down on them.  Moses led the people out of slavery into freedom through the power of God. As we begin this week that leads to our celebration of the resurrection, let’s turn our eyes to the greater miracle: Jesus, our sinless Savior came to rescue us from the slavery of sin into glorious freedom in Him.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you that every word in Your book points us to Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.  Let me never take for granted the miracle of my salvation.  Thank you for taking my impossible situations and working things out for my good and Your glory.  I lay my burdens at Your feet today and trust in You, because You came to free me from the bondage of sin and give me abundant life in You.

I Love You, Lord.

 Amen
