God did not create us to be loners. The body of Christ (the church) is made of up of many parts that cannot operate independently.  A person who is isolated from other Christ followers can still pray, offer praise, and even worship our Lord, but he will miss many blessings that come only in community. We need the whole church in order to be complete.  A body with many diverse gifts is needed to bear fruit in the name of Jesus. He wants us to be bound together in love.

Dear Lord,

Thank You for the strength You give to the body of Christ. Help us to be unified in heart and spirit. Thank You for the varied gifts You give to us individually so that we can use them corporately to share Your love with a lost and sorrowful world.

I love You, Lord.
