…but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13-14
Most of us have spoken words in haste that we wish we had never said or made a decision we later regret. In fact, regrets can haunt us and keep us preoccupied with the past. The enemy delights to remind us of our failures. But we have a perfect and holy Savior, and we are meant to live our lives based not on what we have done, but on what He has done for us. Let go of regrets and stand strong on the righteousness He has already won for you. It’s time to move forward.
Dear Lord,
I know You saved me from all my sin, and my true identity is in You. Please remind me of Your grace whenever thoughts of past failures come to mind. Nothing in my past makes You love me less. Thank You, Lord, that I now live in Your righteousness.
I love You, Lord.
Amen
