It is the Lord who freely bestows everything we need. Most of us would agree with that in conversation, but is it a genuinely heartfelt belief? Nothing comes by chance. Whether our provision comes by our own work, as a gift, an inheritance, or donation, it is all God’s providence, and His alone. He works out every detail. Even better, it comes to us sealed with His love.

Most Gracious Heavenly Father,

Thank You for meeting all my needs and for giving me the ability to enjoy the gifts from Your hands. No matter how much we have at any time, please bless us with a spirit of contentment, which is also a gift from You.
