For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

This message, which God gave Jeremiah for the Israelites in exile, serves as a reminder to us that God promises to bless and care for us, even in times of hardship. God works through trials and suffering; we can trust His divine plan even when we cannot see it clearly. His love for us surpasses understanding, and in this truth, we have confidence. Yet we often lay our worries at Jesus’ feet in prayer, only to take them back and try to resolve them on our own.  God’s timeline is different from ours. Do we have the patience to wait for Him instead of running ahead with our own plans?

Dear Heavenly Father,

You are my Provider, Protector, and Advocate. Thank You for Your blessings in my life. Lord, I trust that the plans You have for me far exceed anything I can imagine, but I often struggle with impatience—please forgive me. Grant me the strength to wait for Your plan and to trust in Your perfect timing. Calm my fears and anxieties and fill me with Your peace. Lord, guide my steps so that I may always make choices that glorify You and bless others. Help me remember that I am cherished deeply by You.

I love You Lord, Amen.
