I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well.  2 Timothy 1:5 ESV

As a mother and a grandmother, this verse offers so much encouragement.  Even if you do not have biological children, there are most likely younger people in your life who are watching you and taking note of your Christian faith.  Never underestimate the power of your prayers and your influence as you invest in the next generation.  You could be strengthening the faith of a future Timothy.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the family members and other young people You have placed in my life.  Help me to be steadfast in planting seeds of faith that will grow deep and strong into eternity.  I pray for each one by name, asking you to bless them and draw them close to You.
