Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.  Matthew 5:16

As Christ followers, we are meant to have an impact on those around us. The way we live may influence others far more than we realize. We can be a blessing by speaking words of encouragement, showing kindness, and demonstrating patience in difficult situations. It is not always easy to be kind, but it always honors God, and that should be our first and foremost consideration.

Dear Heavenly Father,

My heart’s desire is to please You and honor You.  You have so graciously poured out Your love on me, and I am blessed beyond measure.  Keep me mindful of showing that love to everyone I meet.  Remind me to take the time to be kind and generous.  Help me remember that I can reflect Your light in everything I do.
