Teach me Thy way, O LORD; I will walk in Thy truth; Unite my heart to fear Thy name.  Psalm 86:11

Every Christ follower struggles with a dual nature. We are marvelously reborn by the Holy Spirit, but we are still descendants of Adam in the flesh. We will not be completely victorious in the battle until we reach heaven, but like the psalmist, we can turn to the Lord for strength and wisdom. We can run to Him, knowing that He will always stand ready to be our rock and our fortress.

Dear Lord, 

I long for an undivided heart. It isn’t always easy to do the right thing or to demonstrate the goodness, kindness, and love we are made for. But I know I can seek your guidance every day and trust that You will show me the way.

I love you Lord, Amen.
