“And I will be a father to you, And you shall be as sons and daughters to me,” says the Lord Almighty. 2 Corinthians 6:8

If you believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sin and rose victorious from the grave, you are a child of God. It is a privilege to be able to call the Lord “Father” and belong to His divine family. He chooses His children, and He calls them by name. He is not distracted from you by His interaction with others, nor by events or circumstances. He has time for you. He cares for you as a loving Father, and you are important to Him.

Dear Lord, 

I praise You for Your limitless love. Thank You for choosing me to be Your child. I know that I am safe in Your hands. Help me not to be confused by the noise and deceit of the world. I know You are my Father, and You will take care of me.
