But now, O LORD, you are our Father;  

we are the clay and you are our potter;

we are all the work of your hand.     Isaiah 64:8 ESV

Do you ever feel tossed about by unexpected circumstances and wonder why God is allowing this?  We may not understand the reasons behind every trial, but we can trust our Potter to use our circumstances to mold us into a holy vessel for His glory.  

Prayer:

Dear Lord.

I am sometimes bewildered by things that happen to me, but I know that at all times You are good and that You desire to transform us.  Thank you that in your lovingkindness You do not allow us to remain stagnant, but continue to work in us for Your glory.  Help me to quickly learn whatever lesson You are teaching me.  Remind me to praise you in all circumstances.  Transform me to shine brightly for You in a dark world,  Help me to be aware of Your comforting presence today and every day.
