And the Lord is the One who goes ahead of you; He will be with you; He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear, or be dismayed.   Deuteronomy 31:8  NAS

Teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.   Matthew 28:20 NAS

We see this promise throughout Scripture.  God never leaves His children. God spoke these words to Moses and Joshua, and Jesus reiterated it to His disciples. He is good and trustworthy, and He holds us fast. We do not need to fear the future or let past regrets weigh us down. He goes before us and behind us and loves us completely.

Heavenly Father, 

Thank you for Your Word. Thank you for encouraging me to stand firm and not be overwhelmed by the uncertainties and difficulties of life.  Fear, anxiety, worry and weariness cannot defeat me, because You are always with me. I praise You, Lord, because fear cannot stand before You. Remind me to take worries and fearful thoughts captive and immediately bring them to You so that Your strength and peace can rule in my life.
