Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!   2Corinthians 5:17  CSB

As Christ followers, when we trust, believe, and follow Jesus, we become a new creation. God gives us the gift of the Holy Spirit for direction, discernment, and comfort. We no longer live to please others or even ourselves. When we seek to please God first, we grow in faith and understanding. God gives us new life- a new beginning when we give ourselves fully to Him. As we put aside self and seek to please Him, we become new creatures.

Dear Lord,

Thank you so much for making me a new creation. By being reconciled to You through Your Son, Jesus Christ, I am made brand new! What a gift You have given me. Help me never to forget Your goodness to me Lord. Keep me mindful of honoring You in all I do, and let the difference in me be apparent to others. Give me opportunities to share Your love and to give You praise!
