For I know the plans I have for you – this is the Lord’s declaration — plans for your well-being, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. You will call to Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.  Jeremiah 29: 11-12  CSB

How much time do you waste worrying about the future? How much sleep have you lost thinking about something that hasn’t even happened? We don’t know what the future holds, but God does. He knows every aspect of our lives – past, present, and future. The Lord comforts us by His Word. He reassures us that He has plans that will not harm us, and when we trust Him, we receive His peace and hope. The Lord reminds us that He does listen to us. He hears our calls of distress; He hears our prayers. How wonderful to know that the Lord of all creation loves us and cares to listen when we pray.

Dear Lord, 

Thank you for keeping me in Your hand. Please help me to trust You and depend on You for my future. Help me to keep my hope in You, Lord. I thank You for hearing my prayers. I praise You for the hope You give me with each new day!
