Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!   

2 Corinthians 9:15 CSB

Christmas has arrived.  We have been preparing for this wonderful day celebrated by giving and receiving gifts.  How joyous to see our loved ones and friends unwrap the gifts that we have chosen just for them.  How much more joy it must bring to God to see us rejoice in the gift He has given to us……the “indescribable” gift of Our Savior appearing in flesh.  God gives us the gift of Himself. Let us marvel at that gift today and every day.  

Heavenly Father,

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming from You, the Father of Lights.   Thank You for the gifts that You generously lavish upon us……gifts of grace and mercy and love.  And today, we thank you for the gift of Yourself.  This gift is never outgrown or faded but becomes more precious with time.  Let us continue to marvel at this gift throughout the coming year.   Help us to generously share Your priceless gift with others who need the Light of the World.

We love you, Lord.  Amen
