“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Matthew 11:28 NIV

Do you hear Jesus speaking to you in this verse? Are you overwhelmed and tired?  Is there something you feel you can’t carry any longer? Where do we, as Christ followers, find true rest and peace? Jesus assures us that He can carry all our burdens. We just need to call out to Him and trust Him.

Lord Jesus, 

You know everything about me. You know all my troubles and fears. Please forgive me for not trusting You to carry me. Help me to seek You first and to give You all my burdens, big and small. Help me to realize just how much You love and care for me in every aspect of my life. Thank you, Jesus.
